ChloroPill
A custom Shopify storefront built from Dawn. I handled the full theme-side implementation: theme setup, homepage and product-page build, custom sections and features, responsive behavior, client revisions, troubleshooting, and QA.

Project overview
Turning a Dawn base into a custom storefront.
ChloroPill is a single-product storefront that needed more product education than a typical Shopify page. The theme had to communicate an unfamiliar product concept clearly while still keeping the shopping experience easy to scan on desktop and mobile.
My role
I was responsible for the Shopify theme side. I used Dawn as the foundation, then set up the storefront, built and adapted sections, implemented the homepage and PDP, handled responsive behavior, revisions, troubleshooting, and QA.
How I worked
I reviewed the client’s references and requirements, translated them into theme sections and page structure, built the requested experience inside Shopify, then iterated through feedback and cross-device review.
Handoff
The requested theme-side work was completed and prepared for the client’s remaining store, product, compliance, and launch setup. I did not position the project as a finished public launch because those steps are still client-side.
Implementation
What I handled on the theme side.
The work covered both page-level setup and custom theme implementation rather than only styling an existing page.
Theme foundation
Set up Shopify Dawn as the base and configured the theme around the project’s storefront requirements.
Homepage
Built the homepage structure, arranged the customer journey, configured content, and implemented custom sections where native Dawn sections were not enough.
Product page
Built the PDP experience, product education flow, content organization, purchasing area, and supporting storefront sections.
Custom features
Created custom Shopify sections and modified theme behavior to support the requested layouts and functionality.
Responsive implementation
Adjusted layout, spacing, content hierarchy, image treatment, and section behavior for desktop and mobile.
Client revisions
Worked directly with the client through feedback, clarified requested changes, and implemented revisions without losing the overall page structure.
Troubleshooting & QA
Reviewed theme behavior, corrected layout and responsive issues, and completed theme-side QA before handoff.

QA & client delivery
Implementation is only part of the work.
I also handled the client-facing revision process around the theme build. That included understanding feedback, deciding whether a request needed a theme setting change, section adjustment, or custom implementation, and then checking the result again across the storefront.
This is an important part of how I work: I don’t treat a feature as finished only because the code exists. I review how it behaves in the actual store context and whether it still works with the rest of the page.
Result
Theme-side build completed for handoff.
Completed the requested theme build for desktop and mobile. The client is handling the remaining store and launch preparation.
